MailChimp

Our MailChimp integration lets you subscribe clients to your MailChimp audience when they sign up or purchase specific services, so you can create targeted email marketing campaigns.

First, you’ll need to create a new API key in MailChimp. Go to Account → Extras → API keys.

Click Create a Key and copy it into Wayfront settings. Then set up your subscriber rules — choose which audience (list) to subscribe to, which services or signup trigger it, and optionally assign tags.

To use tags, you will first need to add them in your MailChimp account. Go to your audience (list) settings, click Manage contacts → Tags.

Wayfront automatically passes each client’s first name and last name to MailChimp, so your contacts show up with their real names instead of just an email address.

Clients who have opted out of marketing emails will not be subscribed, even if their purchase matches a rule.

If you want to subscribe existing clients who already match your rules, click the Subscribe all existing users button at the bottom of the settings page. You only need to do this once — new clients will be subscribed automatically going forward.
