Login & Authentication

There are several ways to sign in to your portal, depending on how your account is configured. This guide covers magic links, email and password login, two-factor authentication, and password resets.

By default, signing in works with magic links. Enter your email address and a one-time sign-in link is sent to your inbox — no password needed.

Click the button in the email to sign in. Magic links expire after 1 hour and can only be used once.

Important: Magic links cannot be used with two-factor authentication. If you have 2FA enabled, you’ll need to use your password to sign in.

Signing in with email and password

If you’ve set a password on your account, entering your email address will show a password form instead of sending a magic link. Type your password and click Sign in to access your account.

Two-factor authentication (2FA)

If your account has two-factor authentication enabled, you’ll see an additional step after entering your password. Open your authenticator app and enter the 6-digit code to complete the sign-in.

If you don’t have access to your authenticator app, click Use recovery code and enter one of the recovery codes you saved when setting up 2FA. Each recovery code can only be used once.

For more details on setting up 2FA, see 2-Factor Authentication.

Resetting your password

If you’ve forgotten your password, click Forgot password? on the sign-in page. Enter your email address and you’ll receive a reset link if an account exists.

The reset link takes you to a form where you can set a new password. Your password must be at least 8 characters long. After resetting, you’ll be redirected to the sign-in page.

Client sign-up

If sign-ups are enabled on your portal, new clients can create an account from the login page by clicking Sign up. They’ll need to provide their email, first name, last name, and a password. After signing up, they’re automatically logged in and redirected to the portal dashboard.

You can enable or disable client sign-ups in Settings → Clients.

Troubleshooting

Check your spam folder. If it’s not there, make sure email delivery is working correctly — you can test this from Settings → Email.

Password reset links expire after a set time. Request a new one from the sign-in page. Make sure you’re clicking the most recent link if you requested multiple resets.

Locked out with 2FA

If you’ve lost both your authenticator app and recovery codes, contact your workspace administrator. They can disable 2FA on your account from the admin panel.
