Agency Sales Funnel (And Are Hormozi Style Offers Worth It?)
Our sales funnel is a free trial or a booked call, and all we send before that call is a 24-hour reminder, so we argue over qualifying questions, proof up front and whether buyers want a call at all. We also get into Higgsfield AI's huge annual discount, Hormozi-style offers, keeping the order form short until the client pays, and deals in Wayfront sales pipelines.
Hosted by Chris Willow and Alex Zakka from Wayfront.

Our sales funnel is simple. You sign up for a free trial, or you book a call if you'd rather skip the trial, and the only thing we send before that call is a reminder 24 hours out. Chris wants a proper demo script, qualifying questions in Calendly or SavvyCal (do you run an agency, do you sell bespoke or repeatable services), and real proof sent before the call. Alex, who has run the same demo from memory since he joined, pushes back. He'd never give up a minute on a call before knowing a product works for him, and he hates asking an ad for the price and getting a call instead. That turns into which sales tactics are annoying and which land, with Chris arguing outreach works when it's timely and close to home.
Then the offers. Chris signed up for Higgsfield AI and was offered the top plan at about 10% of the normal price before he'd generated a single video, and his first test used half his credits. Alex thinks Hormozi-style offers and countdown timers probably work, but asks whether that's the image an agency wants, and whether a company handing out huge discounts for a year believes in its own pricing. Chris figures prepaid users are more motivated to learn the tool, which is the same reason we tell agencies to keep the order form simple and save the detailed intake form for after the client pays.
We also get into AI-prefilled intake forms and clients filling forms with their own AI, footnotes in deliverables for clients who paste your report into ChatGPT, AI that tells you to go verify things yourself, Alex's AI coach refusing to let him feel good about his biking, and deals in Wayfront sales pipelines (several deals per client, upsells, and sales messages that don't open a support ticket). Plus built-in SEO tracking and a possible Google Search Console connection, why Alex thinks a client-facing MCP is next, and the GitHub panel Stefan built inside Claude with mods.
